E-mail: My apologies for the inconvenience, but please note that due to all the spam teachers get from people posing as students looking to harvest information, I do not respond to any email that does not include specific information about yourself, your neighborhood, how you found me, etc. Spammers tend to be really bad at writing personalized emails. If your email just says, “I would like to learn more about signing up for piano lessons with you. I need an instructor for my child Julie. You look like you’d offer great guidance for skill improvement. Please let me know your availability and rate,” I will not respond, because this generic email could easily be sent out to thousands of teachers (and teachers’ schedules and rates are what the spammers always seem to want to harvest).
